Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), founded in 1970, is a public university located in Waterford, Ireland. The institute is led by President Prof. William Donnelly and Chairman Richard Langford. As a state-funded institution, WIT operates across six campuses: Cork Road (the main campus), College Street, Carriganore, Applied Technology Building, and The Granary. The institute offers programs in Business, Engineering, Education, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Sciences. WIT collaborates with Teagasc to provide educational programs and offers several double degree options, including partnerships with Munich University of Applied Sciences, Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST), and l’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Bretagne Brest in Business.
